Abstract

The Instituto de Investigación y Formación Pedagógica at Universidad Don Bosco designed and developed during March 2005 - June 2006 the pedagogical innovation project entitled Didactic Model: Interrelation of the curriculum actors in the practicum. This project sought to integrate the three key actors in the training of the future teachers: professor (at the university), teacher (at the practice school) and the student-teacher, so that more efficient and productive outcomes would be achieved in both the practicum and the student-teacher. Such model was implemented in the teacher training programs of Education, theology and English. Its impact
impinged on all the student-teachers at the Instituto.

This pedagogical innovation project was developed by the team of teachers of the Institute of Pedagogical Research and Training of the Don Bosco University made up of Salvadora Valdivia de Soriano, Claudia Elizabeth Lazo, Mónica Margarita Lazo, Rosa Margarita Velásquez, Vicky Jacqueline de Alvarado, Nelson Rubén Martínez, Rosa Guardado de Rodríguez and Rudy Eduardo Montano.
