Abstract

This article presents the results of the diagnosis carried out in the research “Investigative formation of the university student in the Model by competence of UNAN-Managua” in relation to the investigative formation of the students of the careers Mathematics and Physics-Mathematics of the FAREM-Estelí. The study, of mixed approach and descriptive type, was carried out through a semi-structured questionnaire applied to a sample of 62 students, 33 of Physics-Mathematics and 29 of Mathematics. The results of the study allowed to know the research competences of the students, as well as their emotions, abilities and skills during the process. In addition, consistency matrices are proposed that can be used in any research process, whether qualitative, quantitative or mixed, to evaluate the coherence and consistency between the different variables and dimensions to be analyzed. In conclusion, the findings of this study can be of great use for UNAN-Managua and other educational institutions seeking to improve the research training of their students.
