Abstract

This research evaluates the Competitive Strategies of the Hardware Store Blandon Moreno No. 1 with respect to the other hardware stores located in District No. 1 of the city of Estelí, in order to improve the current situation of the company, its main strengths and weaknesses are identified and strategies to enhance their competitiveness in relation to other hardware stores located in the same district are proposed. This research is quantitative. The study sample was of 26 hardware stores and 150 customers of the 10 most competitive hardware stores in District No.1. Surveys and semistructured interviews were applied. At the end of the study a market analysis is recommended; encourage sales executives, training human resources, establish the system of delivery, and expand their business vision.
