Abstract

Admiralty law subject’s liability presupposes the application of different principles than those instituted by civil law. This article aims to discuss the degree of liability of the vessel owner and the ship-owner with special reference to cases determined in the Commercial Code and International Conventions, as well as the various limitation of liability systems.
