Abstract

Human rights in medical residencies are essential to ensure a fair and safe working environment for doctors in training. These rights include the right to decent working conditions, such as reasonable hours, adequate rest, and an environment free of harassment and discrimination. Additionally, residents have the right to receive quality education, access to adequate resources for their training, and adequate supervision by more experienced physicians. It is crucial that these rights are respected to promote the physical, mental and professional well-being of residents, as well as to ensure the quality of care provided to patients.
