Abstract

This article is based on the theory of human rights as historical rights. This is the proposal of both sociology and legal anthropology, as well as critical philosophy. The main contribution of conceiving human rights as historical rights is that it allows us to observe the birth process of rights, the groups that supported them, the objectives, the processes of change and exclusion in their institutionalization, among other aspects. The work Luciérnagas en El Mozote makes a fundamental contribution to the historical memory of El Salvador with revelations about one of the largest massacres committed against civilians.
