Abstract

The present work consisted in diagnosing an urban sector and surroundings to propose an environmental planning plan in the urban area of Santa Lucía, Boaco. The methodological process begins by addressing the conceptual aspects of environmental management and the legislation of our country on the subject. An urban diagnosis was made taking into account the environmental systems of the built environment, natural environment and social environment, forming a system, obtaining highly relevant data on the environmental deterioration and reason for the poor development of the urban sector. With the result of this evaluation, proposals for management were prepared, which jointly articulate an Environmental Management Plan for the urban area of Santa Lucía, proposing development strategies for the entire sector and for the neighboring regions; Including its inhabitants and way of life, the natural environment built by organizing and coordinating urban development actions.
