Publication Frequency

The journal "El Higo" is published in June and December, with an annual volume comprising two issues. The first semester covers January to June, while the second semester spans July to December.

Type of Articles

The published topics relate to the knowledge areas of Engineering, Agribusiness, and Education. The journal accepts articles in both English and Spanish, promoting linguistic diversity and inclusion in the scientific community. Authors are encouraged to submit their research in their native language, whether English or Spanish.

The scientific journal publishes the following types of articles:

Research Scientific Articles:

The works submitted must be original, coming from research. They must be between 4 and 8 pages, although longer ones will also be accepted, but not less than 5 pages, written in a single column, references must be cited in accordance with the current APA Standard, up to 15 bibliographical references, may include tables and figures.

Review Scientific Articles:

They must be original. Minimum of 5 pages, no more than 20 pages that include the full text, written in a single column, the objective should be systematic analysis and reviews, they can include as many references as necessary. Citations and bibliography according to APA Standards.

It's recommended that:

• Title: Up to 15 words
• Abstract: Not exceeding 250 words
• Title, Abstract, and Keywords must be provided in both Spanish and English
• Author's Curriculum reference should not exceed 8 lines in paragraph form
