Abstract

Gender is the denomination towards a man and a woman, but not in the equality of their rights and actions that allow a full development and incorporation of women in the social sector.
The mistreatment of women is based erroneously on a series of factors that enhance this form of relationship in a family, which enhances the mythology that the woman is the only one responsible for being violated, therefore this article shows the results of a research called under the same name, carried out by the University of Granada of Spain and the Technological University of El Salvador, with which the psychological condition that currently maintains a considerable number of women who were subjected to mistreatment by their partners was investigated, In addition, as part of coping strategies, the effects obtained in the implementation of psychological therapy for women in this condition are presented.
