Abstract

Technological education is that aspect of education that promotes instances of learning, allowing students a basis of knowledge, skills and attitudes (cognitive skills) to function properly as creators, developers and critical users of technology (productive skills), preparing them to be development actors that manage technology at the service of human needs (social competences).
This area of ​​the educational system aims to awaken in students, the awareness of the growing importance and presence of the world, develop the operational capacity that allows them, as citizens, to participate in its evolution and control, which implies critical reflection about the problems of the productive world, to handle the knowledge and skills that enable them to deal with suitability, solvency, responsibility and creativity when facing problems or circumstances, seeking to collaborate in improving the quality of life of society.
