Abstract

This article is part of the research in the classroom, of the subject of anthropology of religion, at the Technological University of El Salvador (UTEC), the ritual of laundry of the images of the people of Cacaopera, Department of Morazán, the above aims to highlight the need to protect the tangible and intangible heritage of the people of Cacaopera, contributing to its dissemination through the description of the laundry and an analysis of its meanings, seen from the Perspective of Emic (from the actors) and Etic (from the researcher), as experiential expression that contribute to the Salvadoran identity face.
